Driveway Paver Sealing in Treasure Island & Pinellas County
A paver driveway takes more abuse than any other surface on the property: vehicle weight, hot tires, oil drips and full sun all day. Paver Ink cleans, treats the staining, refills the joints and seals the field so the driveway holds its color and the sand stays put.
About driveway sealing
A driveway is the hardest-worked surface you own
It carries vehicle weight, takes hot tires in summer, catches oil drips, sits in full sun most of the day, and usually gets clipped by the sprinklers as well. No patio deals with that combination.
It is also the first thing anyone sees from the street, which is why a faded driveway drags down a house that is otherwise well kept.
The specific driveway problems
- Hot-tire pickup lifting color straight off unsealed pavers
- Oil and transmission fluid soaking into the parking area
- Sand washing out of joints down the slope toward the street
- Sunken sections where a trailer jack or heavy vehicle sits
- Rust fans where an irrigation head throws across the apron
How we handle the apron and the street edge
The apron takes the most turning force of anywhere on the driveway, which is where you see pavers creeping and joints opening first. It gets extra attention on the re-sand, and we check the edge restraint while we are down there. If that has failed, sealing is treating a symptom.
Four steps, no surprises
-
Walk the job
We measure the field, count the joints and tell you what the surface actually needs. If sealing is the wrong call, we say so.
-
Clean & sand
Surface clean, then hand detail the edges and stains. Polymeric sand gets swept and set into every joint.
-
Seal
Two coats, wet-look or matte, applied once the pavers read dry all the way through. Damp pavers are how sealer goes cloudy.
-
Walk it again
You look at it with us before we load the trailer. Anything off gets fixed that day, not on a callback.

Driveway sealing questions
Will sealing stop tire marks?
It helps a lot. Sealed pavers resist the hot-tire pickup that pulls color off unsealed surfaces, and what does mark tends to wash off. Very hot tires on a very hot day can still leave a shadow, but it is a different order of problem.
How long do I need to keep cars off?
Overnight at minimum, and longer in humid conditions. Driving on sealer before it has cured is the fastest way to ruin a fresh job, so we would rather give you a real number on the day than a convenient one.
Can you get oil stains out of the parking area?
Usually a good result, not always a perfect one. Fresh oil comes out well. Oil that has been soaking into a porous paver for years may lighten to a shadow rather than disappear. We treat it before sealing either way, because sealing over it makes it permanent.
