A Tattoo Artist Who Seals Pavers
Paver Ink is Jason, working out of Treasure Island. One truck, one trailer, and a background that turns out to matter more than it sounds like it should.
Same trade, different surface
Tattooing teaches you three things that transfer directly to hardscape. Preparation decides the result. Edges are where people look. And you do not get to walk away from a line that is not straight.
Sealing a paver driveway is closer to that work than it looks. The surface has to be genuinely clean before anything goes on it, because whatever is underneath stays visible forever. The joints have to be packed properly or the field moves. And the edges, where the pavers meet the stucco or the grass or the pool coping, are the first thing anyone notices and the easiest place to be sloppy.
That is the whole pitch. There is no crew rotating through your street, no upsell script, and no finish going down over a problem we can see.
What you can expect
- We walk the job before quoting. Measuring the field and counting the joints takes twenty minutes and is the difference between a real number and a guess.
- We say when you do not need us. If the surface is still beading water, sealing it again builds film thickness and causes the cloudiness people blame on the sealer.
- We walk it again before loading up. Anything off gets fixed that day rather than on a callback.
- We do not disappear afterwards. Same phone number, same person answering it.
Common questions
Who actually does the work?
Jason does. This is a small operation, not a franchise with rotating crews, so the person who quotes your driveway is the person who seals it and the person who walks it with you at the end.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are happy to send documentation before we start, and you should ask any contractor for it rather than taking their word.
Do you subcontract?
No. If someone turns up at your house in a truck that does not say Paver Ink, it is not us.
What will you turn down?
Work we would have to do badly to fit a budget. If a driveway needs the pavers reset and you only want it sealed, we will tell you the sealing is a waste of money and let you decide. We would rather lose the job than put our finish over a problem.
If that sounds like the way you want your driveway handled, send through the surface, the city and a rough square footage.
